[HEY AKIRA

Undine is tracking you down for a hug right about now.
]
alchemicalwater: (16)
[HEY SETZ GUESS WHO'S HERE]

Thank you, for everything you did.
alchemicalwater: (20)
[WELL.

IT'S NOW OR NEVER...
]

So...I guess this is it, huh?
alchemicalwater: (12)
[Well, that's it. The reapers have been found out, and the game is over. Almost over. There's a little bit of time left, but it doesn't feel like enough time. It never does, truthfully.]

So...is this goodbye? I guess we would be going back to our own games after this, huh?
alchemicalwater: (12)
Hi! I bet it's surprising getting a letter from me, since we didn't talk much while you were still in the game. But I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten you, and neither has anyone else here.

I know you had a lot of trouble in your life, and I hope you're able to make peace with it somehow. Either where you are now, or eventually, when we bring all of you back. I don't know all the details about your life, but I hope you can find peace eventually.

Stay strong, and I'll see you soon!

- Undine

[At the end of the letter is a sketch of some spider lillies, all in light pink.]
alchemicalwater: (03)
Surprise! I bet you didn't expect to get a letter, huh? We talk every week anyway.

I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for everything you do. Thank you for being there for us. I really do consider you a treasured friend.

I hope you can find the answer you're looking for in this game, and that whatever outcome we manage to pull off, it's good enough for you.

Your friend forever,

Undine

In all the craziness of the last two weeks, I completely forgot to send you this letter! Better late than never, I guess.

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry I killed you. I'm sorry I didn't try to talk things through with you. I'm sorry I let my anger get the better of me, and used it as an excuse to attack you instead of trying to calm you down. I'm sorry I wasn't a better friend to you.

But I'm not sorry for finding out the truth for Ranpo's sake, and I'm not sorry for protecting Akira. Those two are my friends too, just as much as you were.

If you don't want to be friends anymore, I'll understand. What I did was horrible and unforgivable. But if you still want to talk, when all of this is over and everyone is brought back, you'll know where to find me.

- Undine

I'm sorry I couldn't fulfill your promise for Assassin. I tried to get his name for my 'reward' the week that I killed Chuuya, but I was told I couldn't have it. Maybe it's his entry fee? If that's the case, he should get it back when the game is over. Well...if everyone is brought back to life.

I'm still trying with Vanitas, though. I think there's something more to him than just himself. I've seen him cry a couple times now, and he's really protective of me. He even yelled at Akira for the whole 'she murdered to protect you' thing. Surprising, right? It might take time, but something's changing about him, and for the better. Probably.

I hope you're doing alright over there. It's been a long time since I've seen you, but I still think about you a lot. I have your Wayfinder, you know. It's given me the courage to do a lot of stuff here that I never would have even thought of doing while I was still alive. I'll keep it safe, so I can give it back to you when you come back.

Until that day, stay strong.

- Undine

[At the end of her letter is a drawing of an easter lily.]

Surprise! We didn't die!

Not yet at least. And things are looking up, too. We might be able to save everyone after all.

If we do, I'd like to speak to you again before this game is over. I have something important to tell you, something that can't be said over just a letter. But just know that I'm thinking about you, and I hope everything turns out for the best.

- Undine

[At the end of the letter is a drawing of a tier lily.]

I don't know why it took so long for me to actually write to you. You would have thought that I would have written it sooner, but I guess it kept slipping my mind. It's been pretty busy on this side of things. Pretending to be a normal player isn't easy.

I solved your murder. It was complicated, and I did a lot of things I'm not too proud of, but you deserved it. Madara too. (Tell him hi for me, by the way!) I hope that was enough, that if we can't bring you back then at least you will be able to rest easy knowing that you weren't forgotten just because you were a reaper. I certainly won't forget you, no matter how this game turns out.

I don't know what I'm going to do from here on out. The last trial was...intense. And people might come after me too, now that everyone knows what I did. But if I survive this game, I'm going to try changing things. Games don't need to be cruel like this one is. I'll find a way to make things better.

Hopefully this isn't 'goodbye', though. I'd like to see you again someday. You still have to show me that you have my back too, after all.

I found your letter. I think I have read it a dozen times by now, and I will probably read it a dozen more times before this game is over.

I know you were happy to protect someone, but I still need to say this: I'm sorry. I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you in return, and that you ended up dying, albeit indirectly, because of me. It's a sore spot for me, because this isn't the first time it's happened.

I used to be on a team of magical girls. There were five of us, with different elemental-themed powers. But one night three of the girls died, and the fourth gave up her powers to save my life.

Then later, another magical girl tried to save me from a monster. We both died that night.

And now there's everyone in this game who has died, either directly because of me or indirectly because I needed to live. So many people have died for my sake, and I still ask myself why. Why am I the one who keeps getting saved? Why hasn't death come calling in a more permanent sense for me yet? Is one life really worth so many?

I don't have the answer to that yet. It's hard, knowing that so many people died for you or because of you. It's hard to keep living knowing that.

But, well. I guess I don't have a choice. I hate people dying for me, but I think I would hate having their sacrifices be in vain even more.

I'll keep Akira safe for as long as I can, though. I might not have been able to protect you, but I'll protect him for sure.

See you soon, if all goes well.

Yours truly,

Undine

[Hey so guess who's crashing the fort-hiding party.

If you guessed Undine you're right. Move over Vanitas, she's climbing in too.
]
alchemicalwater: (62)
[Hey Taako, did you want a sad girl grabbing onto your sleeve? Because that's what you get.]

Thank you. For helping Akira, for helping during the trial, for everything.
alchemicalwater: (14)
[You know who seems like the perfect person to talk to right now? The other guy who totally got away with murder.]

I think I made things worse.
alchemicalwater: (66)
[Hey so there's a sad girl who could probably use a pick-me-up at the moment. 'Accepting responsibility for all the horrible shit you did' is hard, alright?]
alchemicalwater: (12)
[So. Here we are.

With the trio Undine never expected to have to have all meet at once.
]

You wanted to see us, Vanitas?

[Time to be strong through more conversations ayyy]
alchemicalwater: (69)
[HEY RESPONSIBLE ADULT

DID YOU WANT A SAD GIRL?

Because that's what you're getting: a sad girl hiding out far away from the McDonalds and any of the other bloody investigation spots.

She's also a little emotionally compromised at the moment, sorry about that.
]
alchemicalwater: (34)
[The note looks like this:

At the top there is a drawing of a bunch of Primrose. Then there's the note itself.
]

I think I better understand what you were getting at before.

Games like these don't show us what people are like. Apply the right kind of stress and faulty information, and you can get any result you want. What's more, putting people through things like this is extremely cruel. That's why half the people here are as messed up as they are. They never had the chance to show what kind of person they could be.

I'm going to try to get the Composer and Conductor to see this. I can't promise I'll succeed, but I'm going to try. And if I fail, then at least I failed while doing the right thing.

Thank you for everything, Max. Hopefully everything will turn out for the best.
alchemicalwater: (62)
[GET OVER HERE MAGNUS Undine is hugging you.]
alchemicalwater: (03)
[So.

Guess who's getting ALL THE PIES from McDonalds.
]

I bought as many as I could, but they ran out. So this will have to do for now.
